You can get a tax credit for 10% of the materials cost of painting your home with Insuladd®. The IRS gives you a credit on your taxes of up to $500.00 for using Insuladd®. Simply fill out the IRS 5695 form provided below and contact us for your Manufacturers Certification statement!

INSULADD Radiant Barrier Insulation Products Meets 2000 IECC & Amendments 10 percent of cost, up to $500 IRS Rules: For INSULADD Radiant Barrier Insulation to qualify, its primary purpose must be to insulate which is exactly what it is designed to do. Must be expected to last 5 years OR have a 2 year warranty. Insuladd will last a life time as our warranty states. Installation costs are not included. Manufacturers certification statement required. For tax purposes, save your receipt and the Manufacturer's Certification Statement.

What forms do I need for the energy efficiency tax credits?

Answer
You need to fill out IRS form 6595 and submit it with your taxes. You need to save your receipts and the Manufacturer's Certification Statement for your records. A Manufacturer's Certification Statement is a signed statement from the manufacturer certifying that the product or component qualifies for the tax credit. The IRS encourages manufacturers to provide these Certifications on their website to facilitate identification of qualified products.

Are Insuladd radiant barrier insulating paints and additives covered by the tax credit?

Answer
Yes, as long as you get the manufacturer's certification statement (a signed statement from the manufacturer certifying that the product or component qualifies for the tax credit).
